We furnish complete inspections with a written report of all findings and recommendations. Our inspections are performed in accordance with A90.1-1997, Safety Standards for Belt Manlifts, and A17.1-1997, Safety Standards for Elevators and Escalators. Section XV of the A17.1 standards are for Special Purpose Personnel Elevators, also known as Cage Manlifts. These standards are governed by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (A.S.M.E.), and are updated as needed by them.

Upon completion of the inspection, we make every effort to sit down with the customer at their location, discuss our findings, and answer any questions they may have.

Our inspectors then prepare a written report, citing any codes in question along with recommendations, which will be sent to the customer.

Load Testing – We offer complete load testing using certified test weights. Depending on requirements, it is recommended and/or required that load tests be performed annually by an outside company.

Acceptance Testing – Upon completion of a new installation or major repairs, acceptance testing is done, where required. It is customarily witnessed by an agent of the state where the work is performed
